We're at the forefront of
revolutionizing healthcare through AI-assisted radiology.
Designed for independent imaging. Urgent American Radiology Services delivers AI-assisted workflows for independent imaging centers, radiology groups, and underserved communities — with radiologists in the loop on every study.
Revolutionize radiology with AI-assisted interpretation.
To provide faster, more accurate AI-assisted interpretations of screening mammograms in underserved regions of the U.S. and in partnership with independent imaging centers — helping to address health inequities while improving profit margins for both profitable and struggling imaging centers. We're committed to bridging the gap in radiology services, ensuring cutting-edge technology is accessible to every healthcare consumer.
Early detection. Personalized care. Proactive health.
A healthcare ecosystem where early detection, personalized interventions, and proactive health management become the norm — leading to better health outcomes and reduced costs for individuals and communities nationwide.
Even today, radiology has a quality and access gap.
Patient outcomes depend on reader skill
Patient experience is determined by the radiologist who reads their case — and that radiologist's skill.
Variability and malpractice risk
The subjective nature of readings increases malpractice risk and reduces efficiency, leading to misdiagnoses and eroding patient trust.
High miss rate
13–20% of breast cancers are missed during screening mammography — a challenge that is particularly pronounced in cases of dense breast tissue.
Inconsistent diagnoses
Radiologists often disagree on the diagnosis for the same exam. Today, reading is closer to art than to science.
Closing the gap with AI + radiologist oversight.
AI-assisted workflow integration
We accelerate turnaround times and enhance cancer detection with AI report generation — core to improving diagnostic efficiency.
Holistic middleware platform
Our proprietary cloud-native platform streamlines clinical workflows, AI report generation, and significantly reduces mammogram interpretation times — optimizing the entire diagnostic process.
Cost reduction & profitability
By increasing productivity and lowering mammogram reading costs, we help address the radiologist shortage and make imaging centers financially sustainable.
Integrated diagnostic platform
Combining AI with advanced diagnostics and teleradiology, we provide high-quality services to underserved areas — ensuring accuracy and accessibility for communities in need.
The work, distilled into four commitments
Independent-imaging focused
Built for independent imaging centers and the radiology groups that serve them.
AI-assisted workflows
Mammography drafting, chest X-ray triage, reporting — radiologist always in the loop.
HIPAA-aligned by default
Cloud-native architecture, least-privilege access, audited from day one.
Underserved-access first
Partnerships with community organizations to expand screening reach.
A short history, and where we're going.
- Founded
Built for independent imaging
Urgent American Radiology Services was founded by a team of radiologists, healthcare operators, and AI engineers — chartered to bring AI-assisted reads to independent imaging centers responsibly, with humans in the loop.
- Pilot
First clinical workflows
Early clinical work on mammography AI drafting and worklist prioritization, integrated into existing reading workflows. Radiologist oversight on every study.
- Today
Independent imaging at the center
Sharpened focus on independent imaging centers, radiology groups, and underserved-community access — PACS / RIS / reporting integrations on real-world stacks.
- Next
Underserved-access partnerships
Expanding teleradiology partnerships with community-health organizations to grow screening mammography access where it's needed most.
